Health needs, consolidation of health tourism, sharing of best practices health, emergency, clinical, welfare and organisational, strengthening of tools for prevention and screening, telemedicine and teleconsultationwith the aim of standardize management processes as much as possible, increasing the quantity and quality of the healthcare offer and services provided to the inhabitants of the smaller islands: a protocol between is ready Asp Trapani and Asp Messina who have in common the peculiarity of running a hospital on an island, that of Pantelleria in the Trapani area and that of Lipari in the Messina area.

It was discussed in Salina during the focus dedicated to health, promoted as part of Marefestival Troisi Award, which every year dedicates a space to the most sensitive issues that concern the Aeolian population. The draft agreement was illustrated by the leaders of the two provincial health companies to the general director of the regional Health Department Salvatore Iacolino who chaired the various panels.

The protocol will be signed soon in Palermo and will become operational immediately and a manager will be identified within each company who will have the task of guiding four phases: method, data analysis, execution and health promotion.
