The director of the “Michele Gaglione” prison in Benevento announces with satisfaction the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding relating to the planning of the Penitentiary Police Department. The agreement was signed today between the Management and the vast majority of the representative trade unions.

The renewed Protocol regulates relations between Management and staff, specifying rights and operating methods on various crucial aspects such as the organization of duty shifts, holiday, afternoon and night shifts, and availability. This agreement takes on particular relevance in a context characterized by a serious staff shortage affecting the Penitentiary Police Department assigned to the institution.

Despite the difficulties linked to the lack of personnel, the parties involved worked together to maximize the rationalization of the available resources, awaiting the necessary integration by the central Administration.
