From 21 June to 7 July 2024The Carignano Theater in Turin proposes “Robin Hood”, a show for families, produced by the Teatro Stabile of Turin. Fifteen replicas that will give families the opportunity to enjoy the story of the legendary archer of Sherwood Forest. The show stars Paolo Carenzo, Christian di Filippo, Celeste Gugliandolo, Lisa Lendaro, Marcello Spinetta and Aron Tewelde, directed by Marta Cortellazzo Wiel.
The story of Robin Hood, by Alexandre Dumas and translated and adapted by Marta Cortellazzo Wiel, Christian di Filippo and Marcello Spinetta, follows his journey between the hope of reuniting with Lady Marian and the mission to protect the people from the injustices of King John. Sherwood Forest is threatened by the ferocity of the sovereign and the cruel Sheriff, and Robin Hood must face his greatest adventure. With his faithful companions, including Little John and Maude, Robin Hood is the champion of justice and defender of the weak, an infallible and cunning archer, the prince of thieves and the undisputed lord of Sherwood Forest.
The sets are by Fabio Carpene, the costumes by Giovanna Fiorentini, the music by Celeste Gugliandolo and the sound by Filippo Conti. This show is a unique opportunity for families to enjoy the story of Robin Hood in a historic setting like the Carignano Theatre, making it an inimitable experience for children and adults.
