Attention to a girl, brawl in Ferrara La Nuova Ferrara

Ferrara It all started from too much and above all unwanted attention given by a group of twenty-year-old Italian boys second generation, to a foreign girl. This would have sparked the ire of his companion, a 28-year-old Romanian man, who would have reacted by going hard and telling the group a bad word. This is where the fight started which led to four arrests.

It all happened the night between Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June in via Spronello, the street that runs alongside Piazza Verdi, one of the main places of Ferrara nightlife, among the most frequented by young and very young people, especially in the weekend.

There, around a quarter past one in the morning between Saturday and Sunday, the brawl between young people began. All of this, however, before the eyes of a judicial police officer who at that moment was in the square, in civilian clothes, doing his own business.

According to what has emerged so far, the 28-year-old would have had a lot to say about the behavior of the group of young people towards his partner. A fairly large group, made up of perhaps a dozen or so apparently rather cheeky boys. One of these apparently reacted by hitting the 28-year-old with slaps in the face. The latter, however, would not have backed out, but would have instead pulled a knife out of his pocketstarting to slash left and right, on some occasions even hitting some of the young people who had surrounded him.

At a certain point, one even popped up can of stinging spray which, although it did not seem to have had the effect hoped for by its owner, effectively put an end to the brawl. In fact, it seems that while he was spraying, the contender managed to twist his hand, forcing him to self-spray part of the chilli gas.

In any case, the stinging cloud that was released forced the group to separate and calm down. The patrols of the state police flying squad and also the 118 health workers arrived on site, called by the witnesses and their colleague. Three young people aged 18, 20 and 23 and the 28 year old boy were arrested with the accusation of aggravated brawl. The magistrate on duty then decided to dispose of it immediate release. Other young people, associated with the first group, who would have assisted but not physically participated, have been identified, but now the flying squad is leading the investigation to reconstruct what happened in its entirety. Beyond the intrinsic violence of the brawl, none of the participants suffered any significant injuries. In fact, the stab wounds only caused superficial cuts and nothing more in those who were hit by the blade.
