The promotion of traditions and identity heritage is renewed in Quartu with ‘Si Ghètat custu bandu‘, the exhibition found in the Sa Dom’e Farra house in Campidano, the first ethnographic museum in Sardinia and today also home to the Multimedia Museum of Improvised Poetry, the ideal location.

The week of the review opens Wednesday 26 June, starting at 7.30pmwith the first event of this season dedicated to tailoring workshoporganized by the associations On Idanu And Femalesspecialized in the valorization of traditional clothing and in fact promoters of various exhibitions on the theme, as well as the event This is how they dressed in Quartu – Aici bistianta in Quartu’the exhibition parade that has been held annually in the Matteotti park for 18 years now.

This first meeting will be an opportunity to describe and show in a concise form the making of some fundamental items of clothing from the past, such as thethe female and male corset, the rodino with leggings and shirts, also for both men and women, all already explored in depth in the workshops of the last edition.

It will be an opportunity to share with the participants the path to follow together in the various tailoring workshops already scheduled as part of the exhibition for the coming months, also to evaluate whether to carry forward a tailoring project, possibly also deciding which garments to make, or limit to theory alone.

The review will then continue with the appointment of Friday 28 June, always at 7.30pmwith a new one Sardinian dance workshopheld byQuarto City Association 1928. An important occasion also in view of the Sciampitta event, the folklore festival which for years has brought popular dances from many countries around the world to Quartu and which has now become a regional event.
