In a context of uncertainty in all respects, salary prospects in Italy have remained significantly affected. The growth in wages, in these 2 years, has turned out to be lower than what was imagined also as a consequence of inflation and the lack of manpower. Therefore the average annual salary in Italy remains one of the lowest in OECD countries and Europe. In this context, gender inequality stands out more and more clearly, even if it shouldn’t be so. Compared to women, there are significant wage differences. Women participate less in the workforce, have less stable contracts, and are not present on equal terms in work organizations. And it is precisely this lower participation in the world of work that determines wage disparity.

To talk about this, the Italian Women Jurists Association section. of Trani organized at the headquarters of the Naval League of Barletta, via Cristoforo Colombo on 18 June at 7.00 pm,a debate meeting with: Prof. Marco Barbieri, Professor of Labor Law, University of Bari, Dr. Teresa Caradonna Vice-President of Small Industry Confindustria and President of the Gender Equality Working Group of Confindustria Puglia, Dr. Floriana Dibenedetto Labor Judge Court of Trani, Dr. Filomena Principal Regional Secretary CGIl Responsible for Gender Policies. The debate will be moderated by the President of the Adgi section. of Trani Lawyer Anna Chiumeo.
