Piano concert for “I Wednesdays of the Conservatory” on June 19th in Sassari
The appointment with the “Wednesdays of the Conservatory” which the “Canepa” of Sassari offers free of charge to the city every week returns to the Sassu room. On Wednesday 19 June at 7pm the teacher Fabio Moi, pianist, will take the stage in the concert hall in Piazzale Cappuccini. The program includes the execution of the four Jokes by Fryderick Chopin (n. 1 in B minor op. 20, n. 2 in B flat minor op. 31 – the best known –, n. 3 in C sharp minor op. 39 and n. 4 in E major op. 54), interspersed with Sonata no. 7 by Sergei Prokofiev.

Fabio Moi, graduated with honors at just 21 years old from the “Giovanni Pierluigi da” Conservatory Palestrina” of Cagliari, He subsequently obtained the II level academic diploma in Piano with 110 cum laude and the II level academic diploma in Piano Teaching with the thesis on “piano technique”. From 2004 to 2008 you attended the three-year piano course at the Music Academy of Pinerolo with the Masters Andrea Lucchesini and Enrico Stellini, obtaining the final diploma.

In the years 2001-2003 he won the auditions for concerts with the Conservatory Orchestra performing Mozart’s concerts K 466 and n. 2 by Rachmaninoff. You have participated in various national and international competitions, obtaining many prestigious awards throughout Italy. He has followed several masterclasses with prestigious teachers and has also held numerous concerts for various organizations and associations, such as in Nieder-Roden in Germany, for the Rotary, the Unione Musicale di Torino, ACM Rospigliosi in Florence, “Piemonte in musica”.

In 2013 he played for RaiUno, live in the program “Uno Mattina”, as a representative of the Cagliari Conservatory in the “Conservatories in comparison” column in a duo with Gabriele Piras (viola) and in Alghero for the “International musical evenings”. Since January 2023 you have been teaching principal piano at the Sassari Conservatory.

Like all Canepa events, the concert on June 19th is also free to enter.
