He was eighty-four years old, originally from Cerignola brother of Salvatore TatarellaMEP and former mayor of the center of Rome and of Pinuccio, who was a minister and founder of the centre-right. Matteo Tatarella, on the other hand, had always dedicated himself to journalism and publishing.
The activity of publisher between radio, TV and newspapers
His name is linked to some historical newspapers of the city of Foggia such as “Capitanata”, “Qui Foggia” and above all to “Il Quotidiano di Foggia e Bari” still present on newsstands today. In addition to print media, Matteo Tatarella also had a background in radio – with Radio Foggia 101 – and in private broadcasting with Video style.
«With the passing of the journalist and publisher Matteo Tatarella – comment Giannicola De Leonardis, provincial coordinator of Fratelli d’Italia – Foggia and the Capitanata lose a historical figure in the world of information. Matteo Tatarella was a valid professional who, over the course of his long career, was able to be a point of reference through his multiple editorial initiatives in a period where print media, TV and radio represented the primary sources of information.” The funeral will take place tomorrow at 4pm, in the Carmine Nuovo church in Foggia.
