GALLIPOLI (Lecce) – The delivery ceremony of the “Blue Flag 2024”, awarded to the City of Gallipoli by the NGO FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) for having diligently respected the criteria relating to the sustainable management of the territory and for having observed the rigid and strict quality parameters of bathing water. A prestigious recognition, with international value, which sees the Città Bella boast the same for the second time as a symbol of shared, synergistic and virtuous management of the territory.
The councilor Riccardo Cuppone and the councilors delegated for the environment Rossana Nicoletti and Silvio Cataldi officially handed over the flags; specifically, they were delivered to the concessionaires of the bathing establishments located along the award-winning Gallipoli coast, north and south, who were issued, as requested by the aforementioned non-governmental organisation, a flag to be displayed as an emblem of excellence of the bathing waters, efficiency of services offered and safety of swimmers.
A result full of pride and pride, which once again demonstrates how profitable and constructive teamwork can be to achieve important and renowned objectives such as the one in question, attesting to the quality and beauty of the Gallipoli Ionian coast.
