THE ‘CI STO?’ ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP PROJECT HAS BEEN STARTED. HARD DEAL!’
The first group of participants left this morning from the atrium of the Ancona Town Hall. Registrations are still open
The first team of young volunteers of the project promoted by CSV Marche ‘Am I here?’ left this morning. Fatigue deal!’, active until Friday 26 July. The initiative foresees that every week a team made up of around 10 boys and girls aged between 16 and 21, coordinated by a tutor, works to take care of the common goods in their city.
Present to greet the willing young people this morning was the Councilor for Youth Policies and Civic Volunteering Marco Battino who made it known how “the Municipal Administration is happy to start again with this project because it is nice to dedicate one’s time and invest one’s energies in care of the city”. And again addressing the first members, to whom the organization delivered the t-shirts, gloves and materials, he recalled: “You are the first group to inaugurate the 2024 edition in Ancona and in the coming weeks other teams will follow in your footsteps . Talk about ‘Am I in? Fatigue deal!’ with your friends and spread the word as much as possible, but above all have fun doing the common good.”
Objective of the first week: restore decorum in the historic center.
Among the activities, this morning the first group concentrated on cleaning up graffiti.
