Frydama, the dream of treading the Sanremo stage

PERSONAGES

Her name is Camilla Valeria Nacchia, aka Frydama, the very young Latina singer-songwriter who in recent years has been capturing the attention of the public and critics thanks to her singing skills and the sensitivity with which she writes profound and emotional lyrics. Born in 2002 and graduated from the hotel institute, Camilla had the courage to transform her passion for music into a profession. For years, in fact, she has been involved in a recording career with Studio 4 and Orange Records Music, collaborating with Marco Petrozzi and Nando di Stefano.

«I love writing and through my lyrics I express what I feel, I have always felt the need to express myself through my music. Music steered me away from wrong paths and helped me overcome difficult times” explains Frydama. Her unreleased “Come Armstrong” is an emblematic example of this, born from the suffering and disappointments caused by loved ones who are no longer present in her life. «It is a hymn of liberation and revenge, a message of hope and courage to never give up, because the sun always shines even if we don’t see it. From there I started writing.”

The song “Come Armstrong” is available on all digital platforms, together with the other unreleased song “Indelebile”, both arranged by Nando di Stefano. «”Indelible” was born from the sorrow of an unrequited love – continues Camilla – This song was written in a moment of great suffering due to an affectionless love that made me stop believing in love and end up hating myself».

Pain, disappointment and fear are feelings that Frydama manages to face and transform thanks to her music. «I love nature and taking long walks while listening to music that reflects what I feel in that moment. The goal of my lyrics is to make people understand how to face difficult moments by relying on passions, because after the rain there is always a rainbow. We must never stop dreaming.” Among Frydama’s dreams there is also that of appearing on the Sanremo stage.
