“+-=÷x Tour 2024” – The Two Concerts at the Historic Walls of Lucca

Ed Sheeranthe most loved British pop star of recent years, performed last night in Lucca for the second and final Italian date of his latest world tour.
After the monumental two-year tour concluded in 2019, the artist returned to enchant the audience with his old hits and the hits from his latest album with the “+ – = ÷ x TOUR” (The Mathematics Tour), which began last summer and already baptized at Wembley with five consecutive shows.
These two Italian dates add not only to Sheeran’s countless achievements, but have also become a source of pride for the Lucca event, indeed a true record for the Lucca Summer Festival.
In fact, no artist had ever dubbed the show on the stands of the Historic Walls.
The numbers were dizzying since around 80 thousand people arrived in the city for the British singer-songwriter, many coming from all over Italy but just as many from abroad, especially from America.
Nothing could stop all these people, not even the rain that hit the audience halfway through the concert: people continued to sing with their favorite for the entire remaining time of the concert.
Ed performed in a long setlist that covered his musical journey from his beginnings to the unreleased songs contained in his latest album, alternating between songs in which he played alone with his guitar and others that saw the accompaniment of his band .

Special Guest: Birdy

Opening both evenings for Ed Sheeran, one of the most brilliant singer-songwriters of the new British pop scene: Birdy.
Personally chosen by the British artist, the 2013 Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter for Best Song Written for a Film, Television or Other Audio-Visual Media with Learn Me Rightshe took to the stage enchanting fans with her voice accompanied only by the piano.
