The San Marino Undistricted Lions Club, in collaboration with the Lions Clubs of Ravenna, Cervia, Cesenatico and Milano Marittima, contributed to the donation of a boat to the voluntary association Marinando Ravenna. Founded in 2009, Marinando Ravenna is committed to improving the quality of life of individuals in disadvantaged conditions or with disabilities, helping them to overcome their limits and prevent marginalization. The activities proposed by the association promote sailing as a recreational and sporting practice, stimulating collaboration and acceptance of one’s own and others’ limits, providing tools to develop possible autonomy from the usual protected environments. Thanks to this donation, the association now has a new Hansa 303 boat at its disposal, which will allow young people with disabilities to approach the sport of sailing, offering them an experience that would otherwise be difficult to access. The President of the San Marino Undistricted Lions Club, Pietro Falcioni, also a sailing enthusiast, participated in the delivery ceremony of the boat together with members of the Board of Directors. During the event, the President of the association Marinando Ravenna expressed the highest feelings of esteem and gratitude for this generous contribution.
