The Italian GP, held in Maggiora (NO) on 15 and 16 June, marked the halfway point of the Motocross World Championship and represented an opportunity to highlight the excellent relationships that exist between the Italian Motorcycle Federation and the Piedmont Region. The President of the Region recalled this, Alberto Cirio, in a video message – available at the bottom – addressed to the staff of Maggiora Park, to the family of Emilio Ostorero (unforgettable Piedmontese champion) and to the FMI.
The same President of Federmoto, Giovanni Copioli, wanted to highlight the link between Federmoto and the Piedmont Region: “I thank President Alberto Cirio for the words he spoke towards us, towards Maggiora Park and the Ostorero family. Statements that testify to his attention towards motorcycling which, as he himself underlined, brings great events to the area and many benefits, economic and otherwise, related to them. Collaboration between institutions is fundamental from every point of view and finding such a close bond in the Piedmont Region is a source of pride and encouragement for us. We will continue to work so that our sport is a source of opportunities for the country.”
