ALEXANDRIA – It’s the week of “White Night at Cristo“, an event that Saturday 22 June it will fill the neighborhood with thousands of people due to the amount of events and guests expected. There day will start as early as 8 in the morning with two appointments: “Empty the cellar” in the center Dea and the “Hobbyists Market” in Piazza Ceriana. There Notte Bianca will also have its prelude on June 21st with Matteo Tarantino’s orchestra with the traders of Christ: from 7pm dinner at the Christ Meeting Center in via San Giovanni Evangelista and from 9.30pm the dance. But it will only be the beginning because the real party will start from late afternoon until 1.30 am with 100 volunteers involved, including volunteers from the Sud Association, Unac, Castellazzo Soccorso.
“We are happy and also tired because organizing an event like this is not easy. We have fielded many people for the organization – explains Roberto MuttiHonorary President of the Association of Merchants of Christ. Events are our strong point but we must not forget many priorities that people ask of us every day: a cleaner neighborhood, sidewalks, roads, grass cutting, roads, all issues that need to be addressed. On the celebration it is important to thank all the volunteers, traders, associations, schools, parishes who have joined together, we are a city within a city with almost 28,000 inhabitants having also brought the southern suburbs closer together. It is certainly not an event that solves the many problems of a huge territory like ours but we are living in a historic and important momentevery day we have citizens who call us and support us, the wind has changed in these parts, we believe in it”.
Precisely because of the size of the party they were adopted in the meantime measures that guarantee as few problems as possible for the traffic. THE measures will be in force from 2pm on June 22nd to 6am on June 23rd.

For those arriving by car, some car parks are indicated: Piazza Campora, Piazzale Antonio Martano, Piazzale di Via Bonardi (parish), Piazzale next to the Morbelli school, Piazzale Galassia, Piazzale at the end of via Parini (after the Ferrero school).
Furthermore, Piazza Ceriana, Piazzale Unes (half the square will be closed – until 8pm on 22nd June and the entire area thereafter) and Piazza Zanzi will be closed from 12am on 22nd June.
Parking and transit bans. From 2.00 pm on 22/06/24 to 6.00 am on 23/06/24, a ban on stopping and two-way traffic is in place in the following streets:
– Fernandel street,
– via Verneri, in the stretch between house numbers 2 and 16.
From 2.00pm on 22/06/24 to 6.00am on 23/06/24, stopping with forced removal and transit in the following streets are prohibited:
– Corso Acqui, in the stretch between Corso Carlo Alberto and Corso Acqui number 368,
– via Maggioli, in the stretch between Corso Carlo Marx and Corso Acqui.
From 2.00pm on 06/22/24 to 06.00am on 06/23/24 stopping with forced removal is prohibited and transit is prohibited (with the sole exception of residents with access to driveways who will be able to transit) until 6pm on 06/22/24, in the following streets:
– Corso Carlo Alberto, in the stretch between house number 8 and Via Maggioli,
– via de Antonio,
– via Caduti sul Lavoro,
– via Belloni,
– via Cassola,
– via Gioberti,
– via Pascoli,
– via Simonini,
– Via Canova,
– Via Boito, in the stretch between house number 1 and via Vitale,
– Via de Amicis, in the stretch between house numbers 1 and 3,
– via Vico, in the stretch between house numbers 2 and 4,
– via Annibaldi, in the stretch between house numbers 1 and Corso Acqui,
– via Sanzio, in the stretch between house numbers 2 and Corso Acqui,
– via Zanardelli.
From 00:00 on 06/22/24 to 06:00 on 06/23/24 stopping with forced removal and transit are prohibited in the following streets:
– Ceriana square,
– Zanzi Square,
– Piazzale Unes.
Finally, transit on the side streets of the listed streets is prohibited, with the exception of residents who will be able to access their driveways.
