It was spotted yesterday in Lucca Dustin Hoffmanwho returned to the city to complete filming of Peter Greenaway’s Tower Stories – Lucca Mortis. The €20 million film, due out in theaters in 2025, stars a New York writer who lives in Lucca for a year in 2001, played by the two-time Oscar-winning actor.
The sets in the various areas of the city
Producer Philip Lee and Enrique Drescher, producer investor, spoke about this new phase of work in a press conference. For this week studio and outdoor shooting are planned, involving various areas of the city, from Piazza Antelminelli to Piazza San Salvatore, from Via Guinigi to Piazzale Arrigoni. The new takes start again on June 26th with a cover set at the former Manifattura in via Filzi.
