06/16/2024 – The month of June is the time for the end of school and for budgets, all very positive for the “APS – Method Rusticucci” School of Music with the artistic direction of M° Luca Migliorelli; on Friday 14 June at 9pm and for the entire afternoon of Saturday 15 June 2024; students from all the venues in the Macerata and Ancona area performed at the Casanova theater in Cerreto d’Esi.
The high number of participants highlights the success of the School which has its main headquarters in Matelica and is present in many other inland towns, so much so that it was necessary to divide the usual final meeting of this school year into two events. Many instruments used, the voice, the piano, the guitars, classical and electric, the drums; a sharing meeting, not just an overall test of the skills and competences acquired during the months spent in lessons, rather a being together, in the name of music expressed in different forms. Getting to know each other and feeling good together, listening first and foremost to yourself and others to appreciate the beauty that unfolds between the notes and the scores; share a long journey of study, commitment and discipline, necessary conditions for making music.
In the first evening, students from the Matelica, Cerreto D’Esi, Fabriano and Sassoferrato venues performed with the Masters Luca Migliorelli, Luca Zampetti, Maria Francesca Marangolo, Piergiorgio Menghini; on Saturday afternoon the students of Matelica, Albacina, Esanatoglia, Castelraimondo, San Severino Marche, with the Masters Luca Migliorelli and Gianluca Buresta.
The involvement of the teachers, who often played and sang together with the students, confirms the great didactic and educational value of the School of Music, between them a human relationship of strong empathy and the binding thread is the notes. And here the harmony of the musical pieces is transformed into a harmonious experience, into a close sharing, long over many months of lessons that do not even end on holiday, but continues, for those who want, even in summer courses. The students who participated in the two events, ranging in age from early childhood to adulthood, shared the stage of the Casanova theater, alternating in songs sung or played on various instruments, pleasantly involving the large audience present.
The event was sponsored by the Municipality of Cerreto d’Esi, whose Mayor, David Grillini closed the first evening by complimenting the students and the teachers who demonstrate so much passion and competence in following their students in a demanding art like that musical, instilling passion for beautiful creation. The “APS – Metodo Rusticucci” School of Music organizes another very important event, the International Music Day, on Friday 21 June at the Piermarini Theater in Matelica.
