AIL Bat meets Police Commissioner Fabbrocini

A fruitful and moving meeting, the one that was held in recent days in the Andria Police Headquarters between the members of the board of the Italian Association for the fight against Leukemia, the police commissioner Alfredo Fabbrocini and the agents of the State Police: the occasion was propitious to thank all those who committed themselves to the “State Police Memorial in memory of Peppe Volpe”, who died in 2018 from a haematological disease, also in the presence of the wife and daughter of the policeman from Terlizze.

Thus Vito Leonetti, the president of Ail, wants to spread a positive message: «As always, the State Police and the police commissioner Fabbrocini gave us a splendid welcome, which we reciprocated with a plaque of thanks for the memorial and the associated fundraising . We want to underline that their contribution is substantial because not only do they play a fundamental role for society, but they also do their utmost to help and support our activities in memory of an unforgettable colleague, Peppe Volpe.»

In fact, the 8-a-side football quadrangular between the teams of the Police Headquarters, the Barletta Police Station, the Trani/Canosa Police Stations and the Traffic Police Section made it possible to allocate a significant amount to the AIL to continue with the projects alongside the families and the sick. “First of all – concluded Leonetti – the solidarity and values ​​that took the field won: friendship, respect, esprit de corps”.
