Introduction
The presence of a vortex of cold air on the Peninsula will make the meteorological picture still very unstable in the next few hours, especially at North where they could suddenly arrive in the afternoon showersaccompanied by temporal and local hailstorms. The regions most at risk will be those in the Alpine and pre-Alpine sectors and also many areas of the upper Po Valley and Triveneto. Also at Center, in particular in the internal areas of Tuscany, in most of the Marche and then in Umbria, Abruzzo up to Molise, the arrival of some local thunderstorms is possible. General good weather conditions, however, in the South, except for some scattered rain in some corners of the area Puglia.
For today the Civil Protection has issued orange alert on part of Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy and yellow on the remaining areas of the two regions and on Veneto, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise and Puglia. The weather conditions will clearly improve starting tomorrow, when more summery weather will arrive thanks to theAfrican anticyclone which will cover all of Italy. Only in the mountains and nearby plains of Triveneto there may still be precipitation, often in the form of thunderstorms.
