The union denounces: “Industrial Relations at historic lows”
The Regional Secretariat of UILTEC-UIL Umbria, together with its RSUs of the Valle Umbra Services water sector, denounces the relational difficulties with the General Director of VUS, difficulties that have been going on for too long now.
The critical issues regarding the long-standing problems connected to the functioning of the Company, reported several times by the workers’ union representatives, have remained and still remain unheeded, while the information in the Management documents continues to be put forward without any discussion and/or involvement of the MSW.
We believe it is no longer tolerable that the General Management does not involve the Trade Unions in advance and periodically for a discussion and sharing of company projects on industrial policy, on the Company’s investment plans, on the economic and production performance, in short, all topics that concern the future of the Company.
UILTEC therefore warns the Management to undertake further unilateral choices which cancel the discussion and negotiation with the Trade Union Organization and the RSU which in fact represents all the workers, the beating heart and fundamental resource of the Company of yesterday, of today and tomorrow.
Let us avoid mistaking Management communications for sharing, when in fact they are truly unilateral decisions.
