As part of the initiatives of the State Police for the search for missing persons, the Caserta Police Commissioner Andrea Grassi recently met the managers of the recently established Caserta section of the “Penelope” association, which offers technical, legal, psychological and emotional to people who find themselves facing the death of a family member or friend.
The national system for finding missing persons recognizes the important role of the “third sector” in contributing to investigative activities through a network of volunteers. “Penelope” is the national association dedicated to the families and friends of missing persons and is an integral part of the National Council chaired by the Extraordinary Commissioner for missing persons. The main objective is to provide a constant comparison on the phenomenon.
The meeting with the Police Commissioner represented a fundamental opportunity to introduce the managers of the Caserta section and discuss the strategies to be adopted in the event of disappearance. To receive immediate assistance, the association provides a telephone number active 24 hours a day (3514155363), which also includes the “Whatsapp” messaging application. These numbers are in addition to the emergency numbers 113 and 112, which can be used to promptly report any cases of disappearance.
