OLBIA. The Giovanni Paolo II hospital has joined the “Female Prevention Open Day” event scheduled for June 19th in 160 facilities throughout Italy that are part of the network. The Olbia hospital will offer free gynecological visits and ultrasounds and endocrinological visits for the treatment of osteoporosis in menopause.
The appointment follows those on multiple sclerosis, migraines and the traditional Open Week on women’s health which took place at the Giovanni Paolo II in Olbia in the first six months of the year. At the event on 19 June the spotlight will be further focused on female prevention “to be promoted in all stages of life, from puberty to menopause – declares Francesca Merzagorapresident of Fondazione Onda – in relation to the hormonal changes that accompany them and characterize them in a very specific way, impacting on health and psycho-physical well-being”.
