Although more than four months have now passed since the end of Sanremo 2024, the Amadeus Festival continues to grind out successes: a further musical certification has arrived for the event, which adds to the increase in platinum records obtained so far.

Next year the hosting of the Sanremo Festival will pass to Carlo Conti, but many viewers at home are already missing Amadeus, now about to say goodbye to Rai after many years of successful programmes. From next autumn, the Veronese host will become a full member of the Nove team, Warner Bros Discovery’s free-to-air channel, and manager Laura Carafoli has already revealed two of the three programs that Amadeus will be responsible for.

Mahmood won four platinum discs for 400,000 copies sold with Tuta Gold, followed with 300,000 copies and three platinum discs by Geolier, Annalisa and Angelina Mango, followed by Ghali, Rose Villain, Irama and The Kolors with 200,000 copies. Gold record for 50,000 copies sold for La Sad, BNKR44, Alessandra Amoroso, Il Volo, Diodato, BigMama, Fiorella Mannoia, Santi Francesi and last in chronological order was Fred De Palma with Il cielo non ci liberi, a piece classified last this year. For the moment, Renga and Nek, Negramaro, San Giovanni and Maninni are left empty-handed. As reported by Biccy, only four months have passed since the end of the event, and for now the overall haul of certifications is exciting, considering that the 2023 edition recorded 41 platinum discs and 7 gold discs, while that of the previous year he took home 43 and 4, respectively.
