We’re here now, with the first stage of the Regional Championship B series Of Beach Soccer “Sands of Sicily” which is upon us in ten days.
From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June the first round of “Sabbie di Sicilia” will take place at the Torre Faro beach in Messinawhose first call was made by the Regional Committee of the Sicily LND, led by President Sandro Morgana and from “The partners” Of Victory.
The formula is defined with a Championship, which includes three Open tournaments (Messina Capo Faro, San Vito Lo Capo 12-14 July, Marina di Modica 26-28 July). The final master’s degree is then scheduled for Marina di Ragusa, from 9 to 11 August. The top 8 male and 4 female teams participating in each tournament. Training first in Sicily will participate in the stage Of Genoafor promotion in Serie A Poule Promotion.
2024 is therefore confirmed as a significant year on a planning level for the general importation of beach soccer on Sicilian beaches. Messina it represents only the forerunner for a regional event, which will touch the beaches of San Vito Lo Capo, Marina di Modica and Marina di Ragusa. The same President of the NLD Sicily Sandro Morgana he was keen to reiterate several times how “the proposal expands even further, touching four prestigious island locations which will showcase their tourist and landscape beauties, and which aims to consolidate itself as a traditional fixed event in the summer period”.
