It was Turin’s turn last night for the highly anticipated event Last which made the heart beat last night Olympic Stadium on the first of the two evenings (both completely sold out) scheduled in the city of Savoy.
The glance, as always exciting, the gigantic central stage, another smaller one at the antipodes and above all the eyes of the dreamy and emotion-filled fans who couldn’t wait to embark on the emotional journey in which Nicolò, as soon as he appears in front of his large audience, he undertakes, bringing with him all those souls ready to let themselves go in a vortex of laughter, joy, tears and the desire to sing every single song at the top of their lungs.
An exceptional band on stage with Ultimo: Joel Ainoo on keyboards, Manuel Boni on the guitar, Jacopo Carlini at the piano, Mylious Johnson on the battery, Raffaele “Rufio” Littorio on the guitarSilvia Ottanà on the bass, Andrea Innesto on sax, Pierluigi Potalivo on guitar and choirs, Chiara Di Benedetto on the cello, Tommaso Belli And Alessia Giuliani on the violin, Marco Venturi to the viola, Davide Albrici on the trombone, Alessandro Bottacchiari on the trumpet and Alice Bingo to the choirs.
In the setlist all his most iconic songs, passing through an evocative mini set where Nicolò reeled off the songs one after the other I will tell about you, that thread that unites us, bright eyes, those two lovers up to the very recent one Somewhere else. Subsequently, on a second stage, he gave fans an impactful acoustic moment containing the most beloved songs from his early years: Giusy, Little Star and Planets.
A particularly magical moment was to the tune of the Sanremo song Sunrisewith which Ultimo, accompanied by a thousand voices and a myriad of lights lit by fans, created a stark picture of war, contrasted with a dreamlike vision of peace and normality, urging the public to imagine a different and better world .
A magical evening for Turin which this evening will repeat and will be magic again for the Piedmontese capital that loves it so much.
Ultimo’s fairy tale will then continue with a fantastic hat-trick in his hometown Rome, where the first two dates scheduled at the Olimpico have already been sold out for months; the Sicilian date will then follow, scheduled for Messina on June 28th while the tour will end in Padua on July 6th at the Euganeo Stadium.
