“The festival was created to raise awareness among the people of Lucca about the city’s history – said the mayor Mario Pardini and the delegated councilor for historical traditions Lorenzo Del Barga – This event, which we have wanted since the beginning of our administrative mandate and which is growing year after year, is part of a broader program of revaluation and rediscovery of the city’s historical heritage. Lucca Historiae Fest is a unique format in Italy in which we strongly believe, an event with great margins for development regarding the involvement of citizens and tourists”.

“A festival on the history of the city – added the culture councilors Mia Pisano and tourism Remo Santini – which grows year after year from the point of view of its cultural and tourist offer and which this year has also obtained an important recognition from the Ministry of Culture. A complex event from an organizational point of view, since it is made up of several sections which essentially involve the city walls in their entirety, involving many cultural and associative realities. Now that everything is almost ready, we invite the people of Lucca, but also those who will be visiting our city in those days, to take part in this dive into the history of Lucca”.
