The next few hours could be those that will lead to a choice of the outgoing municipal councilor Salvatore Scerra and at least part of the group that supported him in the first round of the administrative elections. In the afternoon, the representative of “Alleanza per Gela” met both the engineer Grazia Cosentino and the candidate of the “Gela Project” coalition Terenziano Di Stefano. There are no definitive answers yet and Scerra has not yet made any comments. However, it seems that he has raised the question of possible connections, which both on the Cosenza front and on that of Di Stefano are not the first option to follow. Engineer Cosentino, in turn, preferred not to return to the contents of the meeting, waiting for Scerra to report. Di Stefano’s approach towards the outgoing city councilor, however, seems not to have changed. He has again put forward the proposal of a pact “between forty-year-olds”, without however giving his consent to any possible alliances, which are currently not feasible. For the former councillor, however, there are the conditions for a common project aimed at governability. Scerra will probably give feedback in the next few hours, perhaps after an internal consultation with him.
