The Indian Prime Minister left for New Delhi today after “very productive” meetings on the sidelines of the G7 as Modi himself underlined on ‘X’ at the end of yesterday. «I interacted with world leaders and discussed various topics. Together we aim to create impactful solutions that benefit the global community and create a better world for future generations,” Modi explained in a post on the social network after concluding the visit. “I thank the people and the Italian government for their warm hospitality,” he underlined.

On the sidelines of the G7 summit, Prime Minister Modi held bilateral meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He also interacted with US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Pope Francis. And then finally a bit of irony for the selfie video with Meloni: the “couple” has long since conquered social media and the video has been filled with likes and shares.
