Taranto, Giove and Capuano: forward together without downsizing

The lunch between the president and the coach in the Old City was positive

Massimo Giove and Eziolino Capuano will move forward together without downsizing the three-year project started last year. And despite Iacovone being half-time for the next two seasons, the now famous playing time will not be the basis of the next signing campaign.

This is the outcome of a lunch between the president of Taranto and the coach of Pescopagano, who met in a restaurant in the Old City on Saturday 15 June, a month after the bitter epilogue in Vicenza.

The parties have decided to continue together, even if they will have to update again next week: Capuano will be back in Taranto next Tuesday for an event scheduled in the “Carmelo Magli” prison, so a new meeting cannot be ruled out to begin negotiating with the players whose contract is expiring and those who, in possession of a contract, have asked for guarantees.

Furthermore, in the next few days, the Capuano-Galigani issue and the deteriorated relationship between the two will also be addressed. After the long period of stalemate, we can finally talk about football again.
