Lamezia Terme – The Falcone Borsellino seafront in Lamezia Terme will be the location ready to host the combat sports gala “Kickboxing summer championship 2.0”.
The event, organized by maestro Pasqualino De Sando of the Asd Marconi Fitness club, will be held on Sunday 16 June at 5.30 pm and will see 54 athletes from all over southern Italy compete in the ring. The event will be opened by a performance by the youngest athletes of the Budokai team, Folinazzo G. and Valiante Francesco (5 years) and after 24 light contact matches, it will host the 3 full contact main events of the evening which will take place on the distance of the three 2-minute shots. Marco Tornese of the Fight Club Lamezia Terme (master Daniele Miceli) and Roberto Domma of the Kombat Team (master Iannuzzi) will face each other under the rules of K1 -75 kg I third series. In the second series you will be able to watch the match between the heavyweights Roberto Calimero (Fight Club Lamezia) against David Ikiseh of the Kobra Team Conca d’oro led by maestro Portaro from Sicily. To conclude the evening there will be the women’s first series match which will see Maria Teresa Talarico of the Cobra team of maestro Domenico Massarini and the Sicilian Martina Mazzola of maestro Portaro face each other in the Low Kick specialty.
