The Emilia-Romagna Round of the Superbike World Championship in Misano Adriatico (Rn) and the Emilia-Romagna Tennis Cup in Sassuolo (Mo).
Two prestigious sporting events which this weekend will once again see the Emilia-Romagna Sport Valley as the protagonist.
From today to Sunday 16 June, three days full of adrenaline and speed for a record-breaking edition of the World Superbike Championship, in the setting of the Misano World Circuit named after Marco Simoncelli.
While the Emilia-Romagna Tennis Cup, the ATP Challenger 125 tournament, is arriving at the Sporting Club of Sassuolo – from Sunday 16th to Saturday 22nd June. An edition that confirms the extraordinary season of tennis in Emilia-Romagna, an increasingly popular discipline and followed, which in September will find its consecration in the 2024 edition of the Davis Cup at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bo).
Two events promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region
Among the novelties of this edition of the SBK World Championship – which has stopped in Misano for 33 years – the debut of the FIM Women’s Motorcycling World Championship.
A now consolidated event, even if more recent, is also the one with the Emilia-Romagna Tennis Cup, which this year reaches its third edition. The qualifiers start on Sunday, while the singles and doubles finals are scheduled for Saturday 22nd.
Both events are part of the program of events promoted and supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region.
