L’Aquila, contributions to the purchase of electric cars with the Restart program


L’AQUILA – Following the great success of the previous edition, the Municipal Administration has allocated a further 500,000 euros as part of the Restart program and, with Council Resolution no. 244 of 7 June 2024, confirmed the renewal of the incentive also for 2024 and the reopening of the related tender for the assignment of contributions for the purchase of electric cars.

The new notice with the related forms is available online in the “Ecological City” section of the institutional website and in the “Electric Mobility” section of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PUMS). The assignment criteria, the methods of submitting the application and the conditions for benefiting from the contribution are specified within the portals, also applicable for estimates, orders and purchases of vehicles made starting from 1 January 2024.

Small and medium-sized businesses, including artisans, and professionals with registered office in L’Aquila, as well as citizens residing in the municipal area, can apply.

The beneficiaries will receive a non-repayable contribution equal to 30% of the total cost of the electric car, up to a maximum of 8,000 euros for VAT holders and up to 4,000 euros for private citizens. Private individuals are also entitled to the state ecobonus.

It should be noted that the contribution cannot be cumulated with other incentives granted by public entities for the same eligible costs, with the exception of the state ecobonus for purchase and scrapping.
