Just the day after a Dutch GP that saw him finish eighth and then seventh overall following the penalty given to his brother and pit neighbour Marc due to tyre pressure, Alex Marquez received the happy news of his renewal with the Gresini team. Having arrived at Nadia Padovani’s court in 2023, so far this year he has suffered two retirements and has been the author of performances that are mixed with lights and shadows, especially when compared to the more solid ones of his renowned teammate.
Currently tenth in the general, the Spaniard managed to convince Ducati to confirm it up to and including 2026. “Continuing with the team was my main goal.
