The project which aims to intercept the resources of DesTEENazione-Desires in action, an action plan falling within the scope of the national Inclusion and Fight against Poverty Program 2021-27. The project was prepared independently bySocial sphere B1of which the Municipality of Benevento is the lead body.
“We are particularly proud – explains the councilor for social policies Carmen Coppola – of this project proposal which has been defined in great detail and hinged around the strategic lines of DesTEENazione which range from the facilitation of aggregative activities also through street education to the prevention of school dropout, from support to parental figures up to inclusion and psycho-emotional support.
We chose the path of a project coordinated independently by the Area, preferring it to the initial option which had been that of co-planning with an external partnership, after the Ministry extended the deadlines for project presentation. We are applying as a multifunctional space for the realization of the project, the property in Viale dell’Università, already the recipient of redevelopment funds with the Pnrr and with a perfect logistical-geographical position to achieve the objectives of the Ministry’s notice. Although we are aware of the extreme selectivity of the tender, which will reward only a few projects, we hope to be able to obtain the resources necessary to materialize the proposal“.
“I have to compliment you – explains the coordinator of Area B1 Gennaro Santamaria – with the technical structure and with the Planning Office for the development of a high profile technical-design proposal. We made the choice of an autonomous proposal in the area, implementing a form of active involvement and sharing with educational institutions (comprehensive schools, high schools, Conservatories, university universities), training institutes and all the main confederations and acronyms in the productive world , according to the strategic line of the Administration based on constant institutional cooperation. The choice of the property in Viale dell’Università as a multifunctional space also follows the direction of the municipal administration to practice complementarity between the funding received with the Pnrr and the operational activities of raising additional funds. It is the concrete response in the face of specious criticisms, which have also appeared in recent hours. The Area and the lead body which is the Municipality of Benevento work exclusively to achieve concrete objectives for the benefit of citizens“.
