TREVISO – Willie Peyote among the super guests of Brand Sounds. The Turin rapper and singer-songwriter will perform in concert on the evening of Monday 22 July. And for him it is a return: he had already graced the stage of the event in 2018. This year his “On the shore of the tour” will also stop on the Walls of Treviso. The artist has been one of the most appreciated talents in the world for years now Italian independent music.
Songs like “C’era una vodka”, “I’m not racist but…”, “The keys in the bag”, “Excellent excuse” and “What a beautiful day” cannot therefore be missing from this new setlist, as it will be it was a pleasure to hear more recent hits such as “La tua futuro exwife”, “Frecciarossa” and the successful “Mai dire mai” (La locura) which earned him the Critics’ Award “Mia Martini” at the Festival of Sanremo 2021. All, as always, accompanied by a very solid band and arrangements at the service of one powerful storytelling and deployed against injustices.
The program of the festival that it will give to the city is therefore taking more and more shape sixteen evenings of musicfrom 12 to 27 July. Willie Peyote joins the names already revealed so far. The Santi Francesi (Friday 12 July), Gio Evan (Tuesday 16), Paolo Benvegnù and La Crus (Thursday 18), Eugenio In Via Di Gioia (Friday 19), Matthew Lee (Thursday 25), Planet Funk (Friday 26th) and the Modena City Ramblers (Saturday 27th). But the surprises aren’t over: the other names will be revealed in the coming weeks.
