ANCONA – The council meeting today at Palazzo del Popolo approved, on the proposal of the councilor for the Orlanda Latini family, the granting of a ccontribution linked to the payment of the rent in favor of families residing in the Municipality of Ancona with income Lower ISEE to the maximum limit of 13,894.66 euros (equal to double the amount of the social allowance established by INPS for the year 2024).
“With this provision – states the councilor for the Orlanda Latini Family – we intend to support the families most in difficulty in our Municipality, including, in particular, that group of people who, due to their income, are unable to bear the cost of a accommodation at the market price, but cannot access other types of benefits. Our determination is therefore to contribute to making the city more inclusive by supporting a growing part of the population. They are young couples, families with children, elderly people, who must be enabled both to have a better quality of life and to make our social fabric richer and more precious with their contribution of ideas, enthusiasm and experience” .
Individuals residing in the Municipality of Ancona with an ISEE income equal to or less than €13,894.66 and dependent on a monthly rental fee, net of ancillary charges, not exceeding €700 will be able to apply. The contribution will be paid in the minimum amount of 500 euros for each applicant, subject to any increase in the event of greater resources available in the budget, based on a ranking in ascending order of ISEE. The measure is financed for 245 thousand euros with the Municipality’s own resources. “As we announced to the unions – states the deputy mayor and budget councilor Giovanni Zinni – we remain faithful to the commitments made when drawing up the 2024-2026 budget forecast, when we decided to replace the extra-regulatory Tari discounts (made by the previous Administration with Covid refreshments) with a provision that more fairly affected the groups in greatest difficulty. The unions proposed to us an intervention on the contribution to rent and with this resolution, financed with the Municipality’s own resources and not with ministerial Covid compensation, today we close the circle with respect to the project we had shared”.
In the next few hours the notice will be published, the forms for submitting applications will be made available and the relevant deadlines will be communicated. The ranking identifying the subjects admitted to the contribution will then be published on the institutional website of the Municipality. The contribution will be paid by crediting the applicant’s current account.
