A day of celebration for the city of Crotone and for “the professor” Mimmo Borelli, in the hearts and thoughts of his fellow citizens even after the experience at Crotone is over. In the afternoon of June 13thduring a ceremony held in the Council Hall of the Municipality of Crotone, the Solemn Commendation was awarded, pursuant to the Regulations for the granting of Civic Merit.
To deliver to the prof. Borelli the parchment with the motivations contained in the council resolution, proposed by the sports councilor Luca Bossi, the mayor Voce.
The president of the IV Council Commission Domenico Lo Guarro was present with the mayor and councilor Bossi.
Protagonist, as Atalanta’s athletic trainer, in the conquest of the Europa League, prof. Borelli is unanimously recognized as a professional which throughout his career he has demonstrated, as well as a great competence, an uncommon sensitivity and humanity, contributing to growth not only in sports Of entire generations.
