THEATER. Within the exhibition “The idea that does not die. Giacomo Matteotti one hundred years later”, curated by the Gaetano Salvemini Historical Studies Foundation, appointment this evening at the Juvarra Theater with the show entitled “My name is Tempesta” written by the journalist Carmen Sepede and brought to the stage by the director Emanuele Gamba with actors Diego Florio, Marco Caldoro and Piero Grant. RAP. The “Flowers Festival” kicks off this evening in the Cortile della Lavanderia a Vapore at the Parco della Certosa di Collegno: the inauguration is entrusted to Salmo & Noyz Narcos, “Hellraisers” is the title of the show in which they retrace their successes and present for the songs from the album “Cvlt” live for the first time. The album is a manifesto of what has always characterized the production of the two rappers. It starts at 9pm, tickets cost 40 euros.
MUSIC. Caribbean music bursts into the evening at the Osteria Rabezzana, via San Francesco d’Assisi 23/c: the performance of the Ritmo Diferente group begins at 9.30pm. The genres played – son, bolero, salsa, cha cha cha and bachata – serve to retrace the eras that characterized this genre of music. The program includes the great classics of Cuba and Puerto Rico and the most recent influences of New York.
CINEMA. Ugo Gregoretti talks about Ugo Gregoretti, ironically retracing the episodes of his personal and professional life, through clips of films and TV programmes: “Io, il tube e le pizzas”, a posthumous documentary by the famous director who passed away at the age of 88 in 2019, is screened at 9pm at CineTeatro Baretti, with entrance ticket costing 3.50 euros. An episode of “I Nuovi Angeli”, Ugo Gregoretti’s debut film shot in 1962, closes. Address: via Baretti 4.
CINEMA. It’s the film that’s saving the Italian cinematic summer: “Inside Out 2”, the animated feature film directed by Kelsey Mann in his directorial debut, is in fact smashing the box office (2,500 in attendance on Sunday at Ideal). Today is Wednesday and therefore the tickets to go and see it in the cinemas that show it – in addition to Ideal, Reposi, Massaua, Fratelli Marx, Uci, The Space – are as usual at a reduced price.
