Action and Italia Viva at the procession for the right to health: “We invite all mayors to participate representing their community”

“We join, support and participate with conviction in the demonstration in defense of public health and we are not afraid of sharing this path with forces of different sensitivity because we believe that healthcare belongs to everyone and the problems of healthcare in La Spezia affect all citizens regardless of their political preference. This is why we ask the mayors, all the mayors, to participate in the demonstration representing their communities. And we ask them to help us support the right to treatment in our territory.” This opens the joint note with which Azione La Spezia, with the provincial secretary Laura Porcile, and Italia Viva La Spezia, with the provincial president Antonella Franciosi announce their participation in the “We are tired of being patient” procession, scheduled for tomorrow.

“Today the emergency, also in light of the failure to start work on the new Felettino – conclude Azione and Italia Viva -, is to understand where the citizens of our territory will be able to receive treatment not in 2028, but in the near future when Sant’Andrea will not will no longer be able to fulfill its function. Today we need a strategy to deal with an emergency that is certain to occur and is now imminent and which no one seems to worry about. This is also why we will be at the demonstration on Friday.”
