The fifth round of the Regionale Fmi Emiliana Romagna took place on the ‘Cross Valley’ track of Castellarano in Reggio Emilia, where in the ‘SuperVeteran’ Mx1 category Claudio Simonini, after an excellent start in the lead, suffered a contact at the second corner with a relative fall. forced to start from the last position and recover up to sixth; while in the second race, always with a start in the lead, he managed to finish in second position, climbing to the third step of the podium of the day, one day before the end of the championship he continues to maintain the red plate as leader of the regional championship.
