Statements relating to the press conference on the Rai Radio3 Trani InOnda event, held in Bari at the Rai headquarters.

Michele Emiliano, President of the Puglia Region: “From Friday to Sunday everyone in Trani because Rai Radio 3, one of the most important cultural companies in Italy, will perform and become visible, not just listenable, with dozens of events, one more beautiful than the other, which concern all sectors of culture, from music to theatre, from literature to poetry. Anyone who wants to plan a weekend in Trani has every reason to do so”.

Andrea Montanari, Director of Rai Radio3: “Puglia is an extraordinary repository of history, intelligence and culture. It is a vessel projected by Italy into the Mediterranean. We come to Puglia with the Rai Radio3 Festival because it is the right territory to stimulate reflection on intercultural dialogue, on dialogue between the shores of the Mediterranean, but also on economic, political and historical relations that find an epicenter in this territory”.

Amedeo Bottaro, Mayor of Trani: “We are really happy, as well as honoured, to be able to host the Rai Radio 3 party in Trani for the second consecutive year and I say this starting from one consideration. If last year the choice of Trani for the Apulian “premiere” of the event was dictated by an objective choice of the city’s attractiveness, this time there is much more. It is clear that the city was able to win over the organizers with its strong welcoming and organizational prerogatives to the point of inducing them to return promptly, without any particular delay. We can only be happy about it. The presence of the Rai Radio 3 party further embellishes our rich program of events which has events of absolute international appeal in the cultural segment”.

Aldo Patruno, director of the Culture and Tourism Department of the Puglia Region: “We are particularly proud that RAI Radio 3 has decided to confirm its National Festival in Puglia, in Trani, for the second consecutive year. It is a top-level cultural and artistic event that manages to combine the extraordinary reputation of Radio 3 and its hosts, with the valorization of the best talents of Puglia – from Beatrice Rana to Emanuele Arciuli to Alessia Tondo, up to the students of the Conservatory of Bari, without neglecting the great anniversaries that characterize this 2024, starting from the 50th anniversary of the Valle d’Itria Festival. All mixed with great history, geopolitics, literature, international music. This is the best Puglia, today at the center of national and global attention.”
