Returning for the second consecutive year, Campania Beer Expo is scheduled for Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Royal Palace of Casertain the spaces of La Flora Garden, Sala Romanelli, and Picture Gallery. The industry fair, promoted by the Campania Region’s General Directorate for Economic Development and organized by Knowledge for Business, aims to facilitate the meeting between craft breweries and industry operators (restaurateurs, wine merchants, sommeliers, buyers, journalists) to support the growth and development of the sector.

Two days dedicated to the world of Campanian craft beerwith thirteen exhibitors from across the region, an opening conference dedicated to the sector’s sustainability, six masterclasses on the most current topics such as pairings with Neapolitan pizza, cheeses, and the timeless sandwiches and taralli. And a tasting path of the breweries with tasting counters.

Thirteen Campanian craft beer producers will exhibit their products at the Giardino la Flora counters: 082TRE Brewery, 84030 Brewery, Aeffe Brewery, Contempo Brewery, Delle Cave Brewery, Incanto Brewery, Karma Brewery, Kbirr Brewery, Magifra Brewery, Maltopiù Brewery, N’Artigiana Brewery, Serrocroce Brewery, SpillAle Brewery.

The program of the second edition of Campania Beer Expo includes the ribbon-cutting at 4:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2024.

At 5:30 PM in the Picture Gallerythree masterclasses: ‘The marriage between contemporary pizza and innovative beers,’ curated by Accademia Pizza DOC and Unionbirrai, ‘Roman Pinsa and beers,’ with Debora Fanelli, Global Trade Marketing Manager of Marco Corrado Srl (at 6:30 PM), ‘The Alliance between Slow Food chefs and beers that tell the territory,’ curated by Slow Food Campania and Unionbirrai (at 7:30 PM).

On Tuesday, July 2three more masterclasses will be held at 5:30 PM: ‘Neapolitan pizza STG and the classics of craft beer,’ curated by Unione Pizzerie Storiche Napoletane – Le Centenarie, with contributions from Salvatore Grasso, president of the Union (Pizzeria Gorizia 1916), Maurizio Del Buono (La Pizza da Gennaro), Vincenzo Esposito (Pizzeria Carmelella). At 6:30 PM, ‘Classics never fade: sandwich, tarallo, and beer’ with Alessio Malinconico (Antica Salumeria Malinconico) and Leopoldo Infante, Taralleria Napoletana. At 7:30 PM, ‘Territorial fermentations: Campanian cheeses enhanced by regional craft beer,’ with Mario Sanza, Onaf Caserta.

During the two days, operators will be present for the tasting of baked goods and snacks.
