Ancona, 24 June 2024 – Only three Municipalities remain – out of the 148 total Marche to vote in this one electoral round inaugurated on 8 and 9 June – waiting to hear about their new one mayor: Osimo (province of Ancona), Urbino (Pesaro Urbino) e Recanati (Macerata).
Polling stations closed after the second day of voting ballotoperations have started scrutiny of the cards.
Compared to the first round, one of the two candidates will have to obtain a simple majority to be proclaimed the tricolor band of the city.

Recanati: who wins between Pepa and Bravi?
Competing in Recanati are Emanuele Pepa (centre-right) and Antonio Bravi (centre-left). Pepa reached 46.82 percent of the vote (5,636 votes). Bravi finished second with 27.57 percent (3,158 votes).

Urbino: the challenge between Gambini and Scaramucci
In Urbino the duel between Maurizio Gambini (centre-right) and Federico Scaramucci (centre-left) took shape. And it was a game closed with a minimal difference. The outgoing mayor Gambini, at the halfway point, finished in front with 47.9 percent of the preferences. Scaramucci had stopped at 44.7 percent.

Osimo: the Glorio-Pirani duel
In Osimo the challenge is between Michela Glorio (centre-left) and Francesco Pirani (centre-right). The outgoing councilor Glorio crossed the finish line ahead of everyone two weeks ago, winning 40.09 percent of the votes (7,465). Pirani had reached 34.90 percent (6,499 votes).
