But the attention of majority parties and lists is starting to shift entirely towards the appointments of future councilors who will make up the Vicinanza council. From the various declarations made during the election campaign, the newly elected mayor wants to focus on a political council made up of competent people. To date, no significant controversies have emerged but the first rumors have leaked out.
Wanting to start from the PD, the first party in the coalition with four elected councillors, we hypothesize a commitment in the council of the first of the non-elected ones, Professor Valeria Longobardi, to simultaneously reward the good result of the candidate and satisfy the female component of the Corrado-Giordano group who is is sacrificed for the election of Alessandro Ruotolo to the city council. In this case, the names of two women are rumored, Maria Cascone and Maria Rosaria Pandarola, both candidates on the mayor’s list with flattering electoral results.
While the lists United for Stabia, Action – we are European, Stabia risen, Noi per Stabia and M5S are currently maintaining reservations about the composition of the future electoral council. Finally, those in the know say that the Popular Base – Democrats and Progressives movement will only give external support to the future junta. Here seems to be the first problem for Vicinanza linked to the total councillors.
For the first time, a municipal councilor from the radical left will not sit in the municipal council of Castellammare di Stabia. Little consolation for the hard and pure of the left is the fact that even FdI will not have its own representative in the municipal assembly.
