Verona Pride is upon us. The appointment is for Sunday 16 Junestarting at 4pm, with the procession that will cross the city from Piazza XVI Ottobre-Piazza Santa Toscana to the Bastione San Bernardino, in the Maroncelli 11 ring road, where the final event will be held from 7.30pm Mura Pride Festin collaboration with the Mura Festival.
The event, sponsored for the first time this year from Municipality of Veronais promoted by neo Verona Pride Committee.
“For the first time, with pride, we officially present the program of Verona Pride 2024, sponsored by the Municipality of Verona – states theEqual Opportunities Councilor Jacopo Buffolo –. In these two years the Administration has worked intensely with the associations, organizing numerous activities linked to the National Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. In recent days we had the honor of hosting Francesca Vecchioni, with whom we underlined the importance of inclusive language. A path that continues to grow and integrate with other initiatives promoted by the Administration, representing a moment of pride and vindication for the entire city”.
Route of the procession
The procession will start from Piazza XVI Ottobre-Piazza Santa Toscanato continue along Via XX Settembre, Ponte Navi, Stradone San Fermo, Stradone Maffei, Piazzetta Jones, Via degli Alpini, Piazza Bra, Corso Porta Nuova, Piazza Pradaval, Via Valverde, Piazza Santo Spirito, Via Scalzi, Sradone Porta Palio, Via Saffi, via Mura S. Bernardino, Circonvallazione Maroncelli, Bastione San Bernardino – Mura Festival.
