Univaq, Paths to inclusion. The 2nd edition of the Adriano Perrotti graduation prize will be held on 14 June


THE EAGLE – “Inclusion paths”, the second edition of the graduation prize dedicated to the unforgettable Adriano Perrottiwill be held Friday 14 June 2024 at 5.00 pm in the Department of Human Sciences of the University of L’Aquila in viale Nizza.

Established by the University of L’Aquila in collaboration with the Rotary Club L’Aquila Gran Sasso d’Italia, the prize is intended for three-year or master’s theses that deal with topics relating to the inclusion of people with disabilities with the aim of raising citizens’ awareness, with particular reference to the new generations, on the need to make common places and spaces usable for all and to disseminate the need for an adequate and fair language for every sensitivity.

The program includes, after the institutional greetings, speeches by Dino Angelacciopresident of ITRIA, Accessible Intercultural Tourist-Religious Itineraries and coordinator of the Giubileo For All project, Ersilia Lanciacouncilor for tourism of the Municipality of L’Aquila, Fabrizio CiminoRotary Campus delegate, Ettore Perrottibrother of Hadrian, Massimo Prosperococcodisability manager of the University of L’Aquila, and of the Rapporteur and Author of the winning thesis.

During the afternoon there will be stage readings from the text “No one can fly” by Simonetta Agnello Hornby edited by Rosanna Crisi Villani, Alberto Villani And Bernadette Pizzoferrato.

The works will be moderated by Roberta Gargano.

The participating degree theses were evaluated by a Commission made up of three members, two of whom were designated by the University of L’Aquila and one by the Rotary Club Gran Sasso of Italy, Walter Giulietti, Massimo Prosperococco And Carla Lettere.

Entrance is free and the entire L’Aquila community is invited to participate so as not to forget the great testimony of love and respect for life that Adriano Perrotti has left us as a legacy.
