Reggio Calabria – Twinning between the National Blue Institute and the Royal Archconfraternity of Saints John the Baptist and the Evangelist Catanzaro

Reggio Calabria – In the suggestive context of the Church of San Giovanni Battista in Catanzaro, the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding took place yesterday 23 June 2024 which sanctioned the twinning between the Istituto Nazionale Azzurro (INA), a humanitarian institute Catholic, and the prestigious Royal Archconfraternity of Saints John the Baptist and Evangelist of the Knights of Malta ad Honorem of Catanzaro. The Archconfraternity, with a long history of charitable works and social commitment, enthusiastically welcomed this collaboration based on the charitable principles of the Gospel. The Founder and President Cav. signed the protocol for the Institute. Prof. Lorenzo Festicini, while Prior Luigi Merante Critelli signed the agreement for the Archconfraternity. The ceremony took place on the occasion of the Feast of St. John, patron saint of the Church, and saw the participation of a packed crowd of people, witnessing the importance and resonance of this twinning and the entry of the new members into the Archconfraternity. As a gesture of solidarity and support, the president of the INA donated medicines to the Archconfraternity, intended for the needy people assisted by the organization. Among those present at the ceremony were the INA leaders, including the Dean Mons. Antonio Morabito, the Delegate of the Calabria Region Dr. Giacomo Labate, the National Secretary Ercole Sansalone, all united in the aim of promoting charitable and solidarity actions in favor of most vulnerable communities.
