Several interventions by the firefighters last night due to the bad weather that hit the area but also due to a fire that broke out in a farmhouse in via Postumia.
Trees fallen due to bad weather
Between the evening of 12th and the night of 13th June 2024, the Fire Brigade intervened in several critical episodes in Cremona. Bad weather, accompanied by intense winds, caused the collapse of trees in various areas of the city. The first intervention was reported in via Castelleonenear the sporting club, where a dangerous tree required the immediate intervention of a fire brigade.
Shortly afterwards, at 10.30pm, another tree fell in via Rigliocreating further emergency situations promptly managed by the Fire Brigade, who worked to restore safety.
Fire in via Postumia
The most significant intervention occurred around midnight, in a farmhouse located along Via Postumia, where some round bales they suddenly have caught fire, creating a fire which required timely intervention to be completely tamed. Firefighters worked tirelessly to put out the flames and prevent further damage to the structure.
