“We are a married couple aged 85 and 83, residing in the Sant’Edoardo area.
Already in recent months we had received the much-known “False Accident Phone Call” and which, thanks to the constant television alerts, had alerted us, allowing us to avoid falling for the scam.
On the morning of Monday 10th we were contacted on our home phone by a phantom “health doctor”, who with a turn of phrase intended to make us believe he was informed about our state of health and began to ask for news and personal data.
