ALESSANDRIA – They tell the journey and landing of the “Argonauts” the two paintings which color the entrance of the branch office of the Prefecture of Alessandria and Uepe, the External Criminal Enforcement Office, in via Piacenza. They were the inmates of the San Michele prison who participate in the “Artiviamoci” workshop with the workshop master Pietro Sacchi to paint the heroes’ journey through the two-armed galaxy that recreates the horns of the golden-fleeced ram. The journey of the “Argonauts”, like that of life, is not always easy and sometimes scary but the “courage” is also released in the canvas which then pushes the Argonauts to land on dry land in second work painted by the students of the Liceo Umberto Eco in Alessandria and which also sends a positive message to all the people who enter the branch office of the Prefecture and the Office of the Ministry of Justice, underlined the Prefect, Alessandra Vinciguerra and the director of Uepe, Andrea Pavese.
In addition to the two works inaugurated in the branch office of the Prefecture in via Piacenza, the art of the inmates of San Michele and the students of the Liceo Eco it can also be admired in the spaces of IdeAle2050which after hosting the “Umani” art laboratory of the Alessandria high school also showcases the draw the artistic skills of one of the students, Desireè Trusi, and also shows the artistic ones panels that the inmates at San Michele are making for the wings of the theater inside the prison.
